Online Consultation

How Online Vastu Consultation Works for Gulf Clients

Apartment interior in a Gulf high-rise

Clients in Dubai and across the Gulf usually ask the same first question: can this be done properly without someone walking through the flat? The honest answer is that it depends on what you can send, and this post sets out exactly what an online consultation involves so you can judge for yourself.

Vastu Shastra is a traditional belief system. Outcomes vary from person to person and nothing described here is a guaranteed result.

Step 1 — the free 10-minute clarity call

Message +91 7030829829 on WhatsApp and say what the property is and what is bothering you. The clarity call is free, lasts about ten minutes and has one purpose: for Alok to tell you honestly whether a consultation will help your case, and how fees work for it.

Time zones are not an issue. Calls are scheduled around Gulf working hours.

Step 2 — send the plan and the direction

Three things make an online consultation work:

  • A floor plan. The builder's drawing, a photo of it, or a hand sketch with the rooms labelled — any of these is enough.
  • The main-door direction, taken with any compass app on your phone while standing inside the door looking out.
  • Photos of the entrance, the kitchen, the bedrooms and anything that specifically worries you.

If the direction reading is unreliable — and phone compasses near steel and lift shafts often are — Alok will ask you to take it again from a different spot. Getting this right matters more than anything else you send.

Step 3 — the video session, 60 to 90 minutes

The session runs on WhatsApp video or Google Meet. Alok goes through the layout zone by zone on screen, explains what the traditional scheme says about each, and may ask you to carry the phone to the entrance or a particular room.

It is a conversation. You are expected to interrupt, push back and ask why.

Step 4 — the written report within 48 hours

Within 48 hours of the session you receive a digital report containing the zone analysis of your layout and three prioritised non-demolition remedies — what to do first, second and third, with the reasoning for each.

Non-demolition matters especially in the Gulf, where most Indian families are in rented apartments or villas. Nothing in the report requires structural work or a landlord's permission.

Step 5 — follow-up while you implement

Putting remedies in place raises practical questions: which wall exactly, what shade of colour, does the shelf count as weight. WhatsApp follow-up support covers that period, so you are not left guessing after the report lands.

What an online consultation cannot do

It is worth being straight about the limits. Without being on site, Alok cannot take the directions himself, cannot feel the levels or slope of a plot, and cannot see what the photographs leave out. For a flat or an apartment that is rarely a problem. For a plot of land, an independent house on a slope, or an industrial site, a visit is genuinely better — and if that is your case, you will be told so on the clarity call rather than sold an online consultation anyway.

Questions people ask

Online consultation is available worldwide, and Dubai is the Gulf location Alok works with most. On-site visits can be arranged anywhere in India.

For a flat or apartment, the analysis is based on the same floor plan, directions and photographs, and that is usually enough. For land, a house on a slope or an industrial plot, a visit is better and Alok will say so.

Say so if you are unsure. Phone compasses are unreliable near steel and lift shafts. Alok would rather re-take the reading than build an analysis on a bad direction.
