Main entrance and facing
The direction the main door faces and where it sits along the wall. In classical Vastu the entrance is the single most discussed feature of a home, so it is where the reading starts.
Consultations · Home Vastu
A zone-by-zone reading of the home you already live in — and a short, prioritised list of corrections that need no demolition.
Fees depend on the property and the format, and are confirmed on the call — before you commit to anything.

Most people arrive with a feeling rather than a question. The house looks fine, the furniture has been rearranged twice, and something still does not sit right. A home Vastu consultation gives that feeling a vocabulary: which parts of your plan sit comfortably within the traditional scheme, which do not, and what you can reasonably do about it.
Alok Shukla has practised Vastu Shastra and Vedic Astrology for over ten years, and works almost entirely through non-demolition corrections. That is a deliberate choice. In a Mumbai flat, a Palghar apartment or a Dubai rental, breaking a wall is usually impossible and often unnecessary — so the work is done with placement, colour, light, weight and the use you make of each room.
You are not handed a list of instructions to follow on faith. Every finding comes with the reasoning behind it, so you can decide what you want to act on and what you would rather leave alone.
Each point below is part of the traditional reading, and each one comes with the reasoning in your report.
The direction the main door faces and where it sits along the wall. In classical Vastu the entrance is the single most discussed feature of a home, so it is where the reading starts.
Your plan is divided into the sixteen zones used in classical Vastu. Each is traditionally associated with a particular element and area of life; the study is about which rooms and activities currently sit in which zone.
Where the kitchen sits, which way the cooking platform faces, and whether fire and water points have been placed next to each other — a common conflict in modern modular layouts.
Which bedroom is used by whom, bed placement, head direction, and mirrors facing the bed — all of which the tradition treats as part of how well a room supports rest.
Borewells, overhead and underground tanks, bathrooms and drainage points, and whether any of them fall in a zone the tradition would rather keep clear.
Heavy storage, lofts and built-in wardrobes against the zones the tradition prefers to keep light — usually the most practical thing to correct and the most often ignored.
Roads, the slope of the plot, the building next door, lift shafts and stairwells sharing a wall. In a high-rise these matter as much as the inside of the flat.
If you share birth details, Alok can read the space alongside the chart of the main resident. This is optional, costs nothing extra to decline, and the Vastu analysis stands on its own without it.
You tell Alok what the space is and what is bothering you. He tells you honestly whether a consultation will help, and how fees work for your case. No obligation either way.
A floor plan (a hand sketch with rooms labelled is fine), the main-door direction from any smartphone compass app, and a few photos of the rooms you are concerned about.
Alok reads the layout against the sixteen directional zones used in classical Vastu, and notes where the plan works with the traditional scheme and where it works against it.
Over WhatsApp video or Google Meet. Every finding is explained in plain language, with the reasoning, so you can decide what you want to act on.
A digital report with the zone analysis and three prioritised non-demolition remedies, plus WhatsApp support while you put them in place.
On-site visits, which can be arranged anywhere in India, follow the same sequence, with the study done at the property. Which format suits you is decided on the clarity call.
A plot, a flat or a lease can be studied while you still have a choice between options. Afterwards the layout is simply what it is, and the work becomes managing it.
If a Gruha Pravesh, an opening or a renovation already has a date, that date shapes what is possible. It is worth a conversation before the calendar hardens.
Knowing which corrections actually matter comes first. It is the cheapest way to avoid paying for ones that do not.
Nothing here is a warning. If your decision is already made, the work simply starts from where you are — see how a consultation runs.
No. The whole approach is non-demolition. Corrections work through placement, colour, light, weight and how each room is used, which is why they also suit rented homes.
A flat is the usual case, not the exception. You cannot change the building, but almost everything the tradition looks at inside a home — entrance treatment, room use, bed and kitchen placement, where weight and water sit — is still within your control.
It helps. During the video session Alok may ask you to walk through a room or point the phone at the entrance, so being in the home makes the session more useful.
No. The Vastu analysis stands on its own. Astro-Vastu, where the space is read alongside a birth chart, is available only if you want it.
Yes, and it is the best time to ask. Send the plan and the location before you commit — that is Property Selection Guidance, which compares the options you are considering.
They depend on the property, its size and whether the consultation is online or on-site. Alok confirms the fee on the free clarity call, before you commit to anything. There are no fees published on this site because no two cases are the same.
That is not a question anyone can answer honestly. Vastu is a traditional belief system; experiences differ from family to family and nothing is guaranteed. What Alok can tell you is what the tradition says about your layout and what you can practically change.
Vastu Shastra and Vedic Astrology are traditional belief systems, not sciences. Outcomes vary from person to person and nothing is guaranteed. See our disclaimer.
Tell Alok about the space. He will tell you honestly whether this consultation will help.
